FAO new students in Bristol

During the summer, a couple of you posted about coming to Bristol to study, sorry I forget the names. Just wondering after your first half term how your getting on? and what do you think of Bristol.

hi, i just started at Bristol. It's great...love the city and university etc. my hall is really nice but have had problems with my shared room! my roommate has just moved out in fact and now they're trying to get me to move into a different double so it's all a bit of a pain!
Everything else is really good though!

Is that UWE or BU? I'm applying for both next year to study History.

Sympathies on the halls thing, if it gets real bad, its really easy to rent rooms in shared houses here. The other advantage is you get to meet non-students and get away from the circuit a bit more. Try Venue magazine or the Evening Post

Yeah, hopefully it'll be okay from now on. I really enjoy being in halls and everything else is great so I'll just have to stick it out!!
