Whats the best concert(s) you've been to? Try and only have 1 or 2.

Mine are:

Big concert: Christina Aguilera
Smallish concert: Kosheen

Both were excellent but so different.

So what are yours?

my favourite was Green Day at the Manchester Cricket Ground, it was cool because there were 5 other bands on the bill, Hoobastank, Rival Schools, A, Less Than Jake and No Doubt. It was probably that it was my first gig, my favourite band at the time and we were outside in the fresh air that made it the best.

AC/DC at MK Bowl. Also had The Offspring, Queens of the Stone Age and Megadeth there.

But Motorhead at the Southampton Guildhall was the most brutally loud gig I've been to.

Kylie was great! Saw her at the BIC in Bournemouth, which is tiny, a year or 2 ago before she started doing the huge places again!

Oasis gig at Loch Lomond was great a few years back but there was loads of bands playing. Black Grape being the pick of the bunch.

Robbie Williams was good in concert also both at Hampden and in Paris.

My fav though has to be a Pink Floyd tribute band. They are absolute class and the closest I'll ever get to listening to the tunes live. :D

metallica at the RDS in Dublin was amazing, hearing enter sandman and one live will live with me forever

ozzfest 2002 is a close second, so many good bands played, therapy? and SOAD and Slayer. brilliant

My best was possibly the Manics last year in Cardiff because they were my favourite band at the time and it was the very very last date of the tour so they went all out with the setlist.

Another really good one was in a park in Belfast where Primal Scream were headlining in a big tent and Snow Patrol and Idlewild were also playing.

Queen, in the 80s. It was the Works tour.

Next I would have to say was The Darkness, great show.

Funnily enough, Chubby Checker would be next. Most of you aren' old enough to have heard of him. I wasn't expecting anything special but it was an excellent show...

I was at that too! The Scream were amazing and Idlewild were really good too. I only caught the end of Snow Patrol which is a bit annoying because I've become quite a big fan recently. Badly Drawn Boy was crap though.

The best live set I've seen was Muse at Reading 2002. The best actual gig I've been to could well be Coldplay actually at Manchester MEN Arena last November. They were amazing!

Decisions, decisions...

I cant decide between:

Tori Amos at Manchester Apollo 2003;
Steve Harley at Middlesbrough Music Festival 2003;
Pulp at Leeds Festival 2002;
Weezer (& Remy Zero supporting) at Manchester Apollo 2001.

Sorry, my first post, but I have to say that Bon Jovi earlier this year at Hyde Park was the best concert I have ever been too! He went for 3-4 hours without a break!

Muse and Hundred Reasons, November 1st 2001 at leicester De Montfort, it doesn't get any better than that. PLus Muse suported by The Cooper Temple Clause (May 23rd B'ham Academy 2001). Can you see a theme here? Plus going to see Muse at the NEC December 3rd. Lostprophets supported by The Movielife and Douglas was great, would have been even better if Glassjaw hadn't had to pull out because of Daryl Palumbo's illness.

oh yeah and also, if this counts, the set bon jovi did at party in the park a couple of years ago, i was so happy when he started playing bad medicine, was me and jo dancing like maniacs while all the aging rockers were like 'dont know this one...'
