Is it a good idea to travel to somewhere you dont know to meet someone off a chat site?

If you're planning on travelling alone check out this feature (http://www.thesite.org/youthnet/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=231&a=1448) about safety abroad. If you're planning to meet someone specific, try to set some security measures in place first - make sure yiou have told some friends what you are planning to do and when you are planning to do it. Maybe arrange to call one of them at a certain time so they know when to panic if you don't call. Meet the person in a public place such as a bar or restaurant and don't go anywhere private with them unless you have told someone where you are going. Above all, use your common sense - and enjoy!
