Colour help

I have a very nice pair of grey/white ish jeans.

My problem is finding a top and shoes to go with it. I really have no clue what colours go with light grey.

I figured black and white do. But i think black is too dark for the jeans, and white is too light. Cant win :(

Does anyone know what colours do go?

I've attached a blurry pic which shows the bottom of them. You can kind of make out the colour!

off beige, depends on your skin tone though as to whether this will wash you out.
