i have wavy hair as im mixed race and basically i want to spike it up a bit. Now if i try to do this with regular gel like brylcream then it just tends to flop after about 30 mins. What i need to know is what would be the best product for me to use to get my hair spikey and pointy, and maintaining that shape for at least the night. Also is there any special way i should apply it.

Yeah, use wax on towel dried hair.

I tried using gel again a while ago after using wax for ages. I dunno how I managed so long with the shit.
