Chicago is such a lovely place these days, thanks to diversity.

It has gotten to the point that the city needs to post signs warning motorists of the gang terrorists that are in control in some of the city's neighborhoods.

The threat is considerably worse for young black males. Besides being worried that they could be shot because they are misidentified as a gang member, black males must also be leery of neighborhoods occupied by Hispanic gangs.

Last Saturday night, three young black males -- none of them gang members -- got lost while looking for a house party in the 116th block of Lafayette on the South Side. They pulled their car off the Bishop Ford Freeway on 115th but made a wrong turn and ended up on 115th, near Michigan and Kensington, a predominantly Hispanic section of Calumet Heights.

"They were driving slowly, looking at the street signs," said a Chicago police officer, a relative of the victim who asked for anonymity. "They saw a group of Mexicans standing on the corner but kept driving. When they realized they were really lost, they pulled up to a stop sign. A car drove up, and someone opened fire." . . .
