Monitor?

Does anyone know just be taking a look at this link (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=47842) if this is a decent monitor or not? The techincal/geeky speak makes no sense to little me! :p I don't care if its not amazing or anything, all I need is a reasonable monitor for my mac (and yes I know I'll need to get a cable!) that is quite cheap. Most of the reviews on there seem to be alright.

The dot pitch is good (low) but the maximum screen resolution and refresh rate is not that great. TBH though the tech specs mean nothing, ideally you need to see it working. If the reviews say it is ok then go for it. It is a reasonable price.

Mist summed it up well. Really you should see it working first. But it's made by Samsung, so it should be good.

Thanks guys. I will just be using my mac to do some designy type work on, using photoshop, dreamweaver and the like. I'll still use my PC for everything else, which is why I don't wanna spend too much....:confused:

I'd better add that I took a chance with buying a monitor off the net without viewing it first. It's my current monitor, about three years old now (had a three year warranty too - so it's bound to go wrong now), and it's great! It's a 19" Belinea monitor. Before buying it I read plenty of reviews of it, and thoroughly checked out the specs on Belinea's website first. Turns out I made a good buy. :)
You said the reviews were quite good on the one you wre thinking of, and at that price, it could be worth taking a chance. Check on the sites returns policy before buying.
