...unfortuantely I'm addicted to nicotine and continue to smoke despite the fact my mum has lung cancer from the bloody stuff. :(

My gran puffed 60-80 a day. She gave up after 55 years or so (3 yrs ago) But, it was too late. The damage is done and I promised her I would never smoke.

I smoke, but am trying to give it up for health reasons.

Its hard though, ive been smoking since i was 12 (4/5 years), and it has steadily increased from 1 or 2 a day to 10/20 a day (50/60 if im going out on the night)

Very hard.

Im about the same, I gave up for 3 months this year and for various reasons I started again. I gave up as I had tonsillitis, this may sound strange but I hope I get it ahain so I can stop.

Hey LacyMay, did you go to the docters about that lump?

its not that i didnt care, its just when u smoke u smoke cant stop it, somepeople manage to stop when some1 they kno dies of a smokeing related disease but it never stopped me, the onyl thing that stopped me was lady T saying/telling me to quit, and i did so... untill the other nite when i had 1 at the tapas bar... twas weird i never wanted a ciggerette till that nite, no1 else was smoking but i REALLY needed one that night, ummm iv stopped again tho now, realised the error in my ways and and sticking to the not smoking coz trez tells me not to, and my mate cake told me to quite to so :D

Well the lump went so i didnt bother going again. But the erm leaking still occurs when i smoke :(

what i find really really bizare is that one of my friends does and her friend wont speak to her now cos shes so much against smoking until she gives up..its been a few weeks now!

yeh i smoke probably about 15-20 a day started when i was 13-14ish.

ive give up once before for 6 months i found it easy its just when i go out on the piss i have problems feels natural to have a drink and a fag on the go.

I use to smoke, but at present I'm trying to quit. I'm finding it quite easy going, considering the amount I would smoke, 10+

Though I have stopped through the day, when the weekend comes and I have a drink thats when the habit comes back. Come Monday though I'm able to stop so I'm not to bad.

Should try cutting down at weekends though, 60+ (Makes up for not smoking through the week)

ive been smokin for 2 and half years! a sober day i smoke 3 or 4 at the most! if im drunk ill smoke 6 or 7! stoned ill have 1 only! on e's i can smoke 2 or 3 every hour! but i dont like smokin loads everyday, i cudnt!

I only smoke whenever im drunk, mind you a few weeks ago i was smoking everyday for 2 or 3 days, stopped that before it started, wouldn't want to smoke properly.

And whenever i have spliffs i smoke.

I smoked a lot cannabis ,especially when we have games ,because I was the youngest platyer against who are old enough to be my father .I smoked for the reason to ease pressure on myself and concetrate on my game that helped a lot and it killed my stamina ,SO PLEASE DON`T TRY IT ,IT COULD YOU AND YOUR TALENT

I smoke joints every now and then, and clove cigs when I can get them but not normal ones. I've never really seen the point, all the expence with no high.
