Tummy ache

I dont know if anyone will have any good advice for me, but for the past few weeks ive been woken by an odd sensation in my stomache. Its really hard to describe, but its like im finding it difficult to breathe even though the pain is in my stomache and it really hurts! It usually goes off after about 5 minutes ive woken-but i really cant understand what it can be. I wouldnt have a clue how to explain this one to a doctor....any advice?Thanks x

Explain it to your GP in the exact same way you described it to us. They are fully trained and s/he will ask you questions about how you feel etc in order to eliminate possible causes. The best thing you can do is go to the GP, especially as these symptoms have been happening for a while. It doesn't seem to me like they're going to just go away.

Don't be afraid of sounding silly when you describe what is wrong with you, like I said, they know all the right questions to ask to draw it from you!
