Budget City Breaks

I'd love to go on a short city break in Europe in the 3 weeks I've got before I go back to uni, but I can't find anything really cheap. Me and a mate only want to go for a few days, but we need something that isnm't too expensive - any ideas where to look, or have we just left it all too late?

What part of Europe do you want to go to? Prague is beautiful by the way. As is Krakow.
