Check out our travel special (http://www.thesite.org/magazine/specials_travel/) which has loads of features about planning a trip, saving - and working abroad. There are lots opf books specifically about working abroad, too. Check out: Work Your Way Around the World by Susan Griffith and Live and Work Abroad: A Guide for Modern Nomads by Huw Francis and Michelyne Callan - or check more out in your local bookshop.
Have fun!

One of my friends did this. She took two years off and went to the UK. She and her boyfriend at the time worked thier way around the UK and the rest of europe. You just need a working visa's for each country that you want to work in , and a good spirit.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
