..Personally I use kazaa lite because it's got a nice layout and a wide range of files, etc etc.

SoulSeek/SoulSearch (can't remember what it's called) is quite good, has hundreds upon hundreds of sets etc, but I don't tend to use that as much because it's got a more complicated layout.

What's your personal favourite?

I use K-lite personally, just because it was recommended to me.

u have to be sharing a certain amount of stuff to get in to the hubs. each hub has its own limit, some are 1 gb others are all the way up to 80, most are around 10 or 20.
I only share 5 gig of shit stuff that no-one wants and can get 70k/sec downloads usually. can getall new movie releases as soon as they're onthe net and software andgames before official release dates. playing jka atm :D

afaik 1412 is the default port but it can work in passive mode if ur behind a firewall. if not u can use an http tunneller to forward it through a web proxy server.

If you use DC++, make sure you download off BBB, Telia or BoStream users (BBB = Bredbandsbolaget, these are all swedish ISP's btw) most are on 10mbit connections and speeds are crazy.

I find WINMX to be the best. I think Kazza is a pile of shite. I looked for songs on that once and got like 300 results and then tried the same on WINMX and got like 2000 results. There are a lot in a que but you can still take you pick from a shed load of tunes.

Yea kazaa is a pile of poo tbh, with Kazaa lite being the norm now everyone just selects the 'Do not share files with other users' option, I mean, what's the point in having a file sharing system if no one is going to share? lol...
I never really had much luck with WinMX either :/ most files I want are always in a queue and you could be waiting in it for days most fo the time. :|
