I had my navel pierced about 3 months ago.
I have a keloid which is red and sore and just won't go!
I've used Dilute Hydrogen Peroxide as directed, but it just made it worse, so I stopped. I'm cleaning it with my normal cleaning solution, but can't get the keloid to hop it.
Any help would be great?

peroxide is wasy too harsh for a healing piercing.
the best thing you can do for it is soak it in salt water.
either buy some saline solution from the chemist (they have big bottles for contact lens users, and make sure not to contaminate it, or get some sea salt, disslove a spoonful in a pint of boiled water, leave it to cool, and soak.
if you do salt soaks twice a day, you should see results.
you're probably aready aware of it, but this site (http://www.bmezine.com/) is very helpful.

Keloids can be a pain in the arse. I eventually cut the ones off my tragus piercings with a swiss army knife... followed by dousing them in vodka, to "steralise" the wound (i was very drunk at the time) and yes i know it seems stupid, but it worked
More conventional method would be to take the piercing out, if you are getting a keloid it means something is wrong and your body is rejecting the piercing. get it out, let the keloid heal and go away, then re-pierce

This is why i mentioned the fact that it was stupid, and then recommended a more conventional method

not necessarily. a keloid is a form of scarring. and all piercings need to form scar tissue as part of their healing. a keloid is just your body taking it too far.
they sometimes go away. it would be worth persevering with, especially for a navel piercing, which are usually problematic.
if there doesn't seem to be any improvement in a couple of months, or if it becomes really uncomfortable, i would take it out and let it heal.

it took nearly a year for my bellybutton to heal fully. I tried all sorts of things to clean it, and even antibiotics. But then someone told me to put saliva on it as often as i remembered (only your own saliva of course) and it healed up within a week after that!
Then the novelty wore off and i took it out.
