Changing Partners

When people change partners and decide to go from using condoms to the pill, etc does anyone here say "let go to the clinic and get tested first?"

I would only because i get kinda freaked out about catching something! Some of my mates haven't been tested and their boyfriends could have all sorts as most of them have slept around without bothering about protection etc.

The first thing I do is have a talk about it. Then decide. In an ideal, and perfect, world condoms would be used right from the start, but it depends upon how well I know a girl before having sex.
Oh, and I've never been for a test by the way, but wouldn't hessitate if it was thought necessary.

i wld use condoms with a new partner thn if i was in a long term relationship thn i wld discuss the issue with them and then i prob wouldnt use condoms.

Can't really say what I'd do, as I've not been in the situation, but if I was in a relationship and wanted to stop using condoms, and I knew my partner had had sex without condoms before, and hadn't been tested, I'd probably want him to be.

Does that make sense?
