chest pain

does anyone else get little sharp stabbing pains in their chest every so often when they take a really deep breath?

sometimes i get it that when i breathe in, i get a pain just under my left boob and round to the left a bit. if i keep breathing in it sort of snaps, and stops hurting.

lately i've been getting similar sorts of pain, but when i breathe more it won't snap, and keeps hurting....

anyone else get this? i'm gonna mention in to my doctor when i next see her, but i just wondered if it's just something normal, like cramps...

I get that sometimes too.

Don't know what it is though. Doesn't happen very often.

yeah i get it occasionley to i thought it might of been when i smoke lots.

sounds like trapped wind to me - i get that sometimes.

I used to suffer really badly from chest pains when I was on the pill.. When I mentioned it to my doctor it got put down to hayfever ( in winter?? :crazyeyes )
then when I mentioned it at a later date he kinda just snorted at me and said I was too young to have angina and what did I expect him to do about it (bearing in mind he's a doctor.. there to help people :crazyeyes ) but apparently that was just me being unreasonable.. ooh look I've gone off an a HUGE tangent..

But anyway I stopped taking the pill and they've stopped near enough all together.. I sometimes get the odd one every now and then.. but its always when I'm doing something like watching TV.. not while I'm doing sport or anything active..

i have it too, the muscles between my ribs get really inflammed in cold weather, if i do too much excersise etc. really really painful, im on anti inflammatorys for it as its coming up for the cold months

id go to your doctor though, it could be a wide range of things
