Motorcycle Speedway

I was just wondering if anyone watches/used to watch motorcycle speedway?

I know some people have a passing interest in it because they show the Speedway Grand Prixs (SGP) on Channel 4 and Sky Sports. Has anyone ever seen these and what did they think?

I've started watching it on Sky, not much of a bike bloke but its still good fun. Never been to an event, might do one day.

ice racing is so much more entertaining (and painful) you see the nails the put in the tyres for grip? ever see someone come off and get ragged by the nails??? ouch!
