thing is, they're so cheap that even if they do fall apart you can always go get another one :)

Primark just rules so much :) you just can't go in and only buy one thing. the other day i went in looking for a cream zippy up jacket and they also had them in pink and black so i got a pink one too. wish i'd got a black on as well but i thought 3 was a little excessive!

and i got my favourite ever shoes from there - pink denim trainers :D everyone keeps asking me where i got them from!

It is inexpensive.

I buy stuff from there. I think people who are too snobby to pay less are completely stupid.

its brilliant, especially for kids clothes, the stuff washes up really well, unlike some cheap places where the stuff looks shit after youve washed it a couple of times.

It just goes to show how much we must be getting ripped off at other clothes shops. it's not like Primark's stuff is bad quality.

in wigan, our Primark is where C&A used to be. My mum went mad when C&A closed down but she says that Primark is a good enough replacement :)

We don't have one here but there's one in Southampton. Never been in there though, not cos I'm too snobby to go in there, more that I just don't like cheap quality clothes. But if you lot insist that it's alright I may venture in there and have a look...

How could she go mad, at them closing down?!?! :eek2: I'd have held a party :p
I was in there once, promised never to go in there again. Forced to go in there by my friend, and after that I kept to my promise.
They've opened a Zara here instead of the C&A, and they're having a whole lot more of succes.

I agree, a few years ago, when I was a bit better off, living at home etc all I would buy is designer clothes and wouldnt dares go to Primark. Since being in the real world, ive discovered I love finding bargains! I shopin charity shops too, you find soem great stuff. I still buy the odd designer stuff, for special occasions and maybe 1 item when I get paid, but yes I have seen the light :D

i've never had problems finding 8s.

the only thing they don't make in my size is bras. which is a shame cause some of them are really nice.

yep i have a problem with their bras in that all the ones in my size are boring plain bras...why dont they make pretty bras in big sizes? GRRRR!!!!!

but yeh primark is pretty fab, i have a habit of buying 4 of the same thing in different colours, like really nice combats that i got in black and green...boob tubes that i got for like £3 i got in pink, blue, white and black...and numerous vest tops i think i have about 10 all the same style like those ones you get in top shop, but they are only £2 in primark and i have them in all different colours...!! primark rocks! i feel a shopping spree coming on...i just moved to Belfast where theres a huge one...!!

i was in primark yesterday and i found loads of stuff in sizes 10+ but next to nothing in size 8 which is really annoying because most of their size 10s are too big for me.

maybe its just one of those places you either love or hate.
I hate TK maxx too, but i know loads of people who love it, I think THATs like a jumble sale, i can never find anything that actually fits me nicely in there.

 most cheap shops are like jumble sales, and like others have said tend to only do large sizes which is why i don't bother. I just stick to the decent shops that I like.

i've been in the one in Manchester (i guess that's the one you're on about) and I kind of know what you mean. Our Primark in Wigan isn't as bad as that. It's a lot smaller, and the stuff tends to be set out more neatly on the racks and stuff. Last time I went to the Manchester one I felt like I was in a big warehouse.

Still love Primark though :)

I hate Primark and TK Maxx. :yuck: The clothes were all squished together on massive rails. I hate sales too. :/ Things should be tidy. :(

Oh I live kinda near a TK maxx, I think.

Never been in.

I wouldn't now either because it's near to my ewwy ex-boyfriend's house.

I still want a primark though. :( And C&A...although that was replaced by H&M, which is good.

I've only ever been in Primark for the kewl socks. :D

I've heard TK Maxx is a great place to find bargains... it's just pot luck of whether or not you'll find anything.

TK Maxx always have really nice, cheapy tops - I got a Billabong fitted t-shirt in a gorgeous blue colour for a tenner. :D

I need to go to Primark though... I've not been for at least like 2 weeks now :p

I agree! *nod enthusiastically* The only thing i find Primark good for is cheap trainer socks, and a nice pair of pattened black tights which i liked, but when looked again, couldn't find them. :(
