Are there any songs out there that never fail to make you cry??

Because of the lyrics, the music, the fact that they bring back memories or because u can relate to them in such a way that u feel like it could have been you that wrote it?

i admit, that im a quivering emotional wreck as soon as i listen to

'Walk Away' - Christina Aguilera
'Stole' - Kelly Rowland
'Do You Feel The Same' - Silverchair
'The Voice Within' - Christina Aguilera
'Amazing Grace'

I was having sex with my fella and then i heard Stole playng in the background, i broke down into tears then and there..

I know i cant be the only one, so own up people!

I've got to admit Walk Away does make me fill up, the lyrics are brilliant and I can relate to them so much! The Voice Within doesn't make me cry but its a beautiful song.

I don't think theres any songs that really make me cry cos of the lyrics its mainly because of the memories they bring back, Everytime by A1 always makes me cry because of the sad memories, and also Angel by Sarah McLachlan!

by the above comment i also take it somebody else is seeing metallica??? :)

ummm songs that make me cry... theres so many

pretty much the whole of 14 shades of grey - just because of how they are sung and written.

staind - its been a while, outside, epiphany (sp?)

Metallica - the unforgiven, fade to black,

Stone Sour - Bother

Feeder - just the way im feeling, forget about tomorrow, piece by piece,

New found glory - eyesore, sonny, head on collision,

Greenday - good riddance (reminds me of all the friends im gonna lose now im going to collge n their all staying at 6th form :()

theres so many more they are just a few i can think of, by the way they don't make me cry all the time or everytime i listen to them, just on occasions when im sad or thinking about stuff.

Ahh songs to cry to.

'Trouble' by Coldplay. Whenever I feel sad, I play this over and over. I've cried for about 5 hours straight with it playing over and over. 'The scientist' makes me cry too....I had to hide my coldplay albums when my ex and I broke-up.

'To forgive' by Smashing pumpkins. But my mellon collie album is all fucked and scratched now. :(

Sometimes songs I don't even like make me cry because they remind me of times in my life when I've been a dumbass. Which has been quite often.

Tears In Heaven - Eric Clapton. This topic has been done on here before.

when i listen to my white pony album i get quite teary as it's what i was listening to when i got some rather awful news.
Also melon collie and the infinate sadness, great abum, but it makes me rather emotional.
But i don't mind :D

Jeff Buckley - Basically the whole of the Grace album but especially Last Goodbye

Bon Jovi - In These Arms, Bed of Roses

Goo Goo Dolls - Sympathy

Def Leppard - Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad, Love Bites

Dido - Here With Me

Poison - Something To Believe In

Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm

Bush - Come Down

Hmm, that's quite a lot!!

Not all of them are particularly sad songs but a lot of them just remind me of certain times in my life.

the new staind album, 14 shades of grey is emotional, as was there last album. i dont think that any pop songs can be emotional, as they didnt write it for themselves, they were just handed to them....

The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work

That's such a harrowing song, it chills me every time I listen to it and really brings tears to my eyes.

Other songs that make me feel like crying are...

Dido - Don't think of me

Garbage - Cup of coffee

Savage Garden - Two beds and a coffee machine

Travis - Slide Show

Interestingly, those 4 songs were some of the music I listened to when getting over two ex-boyfriends... that could be why they upset me!

I like Beautiful by Christina Aguilera, I like Don't Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith..I like lots. But none really make me cry. There's one that makes me kinda teary though, not because of the song particularly, but it was playing over and over on my last day of school when everyone was hugging and saying goodbye and stuff. So it's the memories rather than the song.

*cough* S Club - Say Goodbye *cough*

Beautiful used to make me cry, i loved it so much, then i heard my ex gf is obsessed with it and now i cant even listen to it without wanting to scream! Its weird how some songs can be either ruined or turn from 'crap to brilliant' because of memories or associations.

They split up... the guitarist guy didn't like all the fame and everything, so Darren went on his own. :D

Robbie Williams - Angels

Cos a few years ago, they played that song when someone died on some police TV programme thingy and all the people always argued with eachother and stuff but when this guy died, they all held hands and they were all crying and I just remember them playing this song and me and my mum just bursting in to tears
