Has anyone read it yet?
I got it at midnight and read it in four hours. It is excellent...a lot more adult than previous books and really scary. The Big Death is shocking and sad...don't worry I won't say who it is in case some are still reading but oh my god I cried.
Fred and George are even more on form than ever and there are lots of new characters, some good and some pure evil. Battle scene at the end is frantic...I had to read it twice because my heart was beating so fast I couldn't take it all in. And Harry does get a girlfriend (sort of) but I'm not telling you who!

Where did you get the book from? I would like to read the book but I am wondering where the cheapest place to buy it is.

I wasn't all that fussed about the new book really until my mum brought it home yesterday and all it took was the first page before I was hooked again!
But my sister stole it on me when I went out so now I have to wait ages til she finishes!
My copy is also printed upside down from the cover :eek2:

The new Harry Potter is great , not as good as book 3 , which was the best , but still pretty damn good.
The ending is a corker , as is the truth about Harrys parents murder..

The books are a hell of a lot better than the films - I think that's the view held by the vast majority of people who've read the books and seen the films.

I never really thought much to Prisoner of Azkaban - Goblet of Fire is my favourite so far, but I've still got to read this new one - I have a suspicion it could be my new favourite. I haven't read it yet though - saving it for my holiday :)

Nah book 3 is really good. It made me get all emotional when Sirius became Harry's stepdad and then he had to go and then, and then :crying: *memories*
:crying: It's not fair!!!!

God it on Saturday, finished by Sunday night (cos I was working...) Started reading it again. VEry dark and moody, and Harry's a bit of a twat at times, flying off the handle for no reason at all... But the death is great, especially how she make's you thinks it's one person, then it's not, then another, then it's not... I was like 'Who dies already!!!' But in all a very good book. So, when's the next one out?

Probably why you can't spell then.
I also reckon that by the time the film of the book comes out you will be about 10 years older than you are now!!

i thought it was a great book, but i agree with it not being as good as the thrid one, it's also my favourite. CAn't wait for the movie :hyper:
I'm sure they are gunna fuck up the dementors tho
i'm just waiting for them to ruin how i think they look :(
i cried a bit when they killed my fav character. But it wasn't a shock, i was sure they'd kill that person anyway.
Bit it was still VERY VERY SAD!
