Anyone got it yet?

Any good? Is it a return to form, or another Kid A/Amnesia type shit fest?

I was going to buy it but then I remembered the new eels album was out too and I've no job anymore so I couldn't buy both, poor poor me...

But from what I heard at the Belfast gig last month it's a bit of a mixed bag. From what I remember 2+2=5 and myxomitosis were rather good. Better than the last two albums anyway

Well, I've just gone and bought it - having had a listen in HMV.

It's not "OK Computer", and certainly no "The Bends" (but then no-one will ever come close to that again) but it is a sweet country mile better than the last two pathetic shite fests they put out...

Yeh it's certainly a fantastic album.

Some say it's a return to form after Souljacker but i thought they're as good as each other. :)

Saturday Morning and Lonewolf are brilliant songs

Yep :)

The only Eels album that I'm not too keen on is their live one.
But even that's not particularly bad...just not as good as the others.

All the others are brilliant.

To keep reasonably on topic, I'm not a radiohead fan.

My Dad downloaded it for me ages ago, but I haven't had the chance to listen to it all in one go (and the fact it's now lost somewhere), so can't yet comment upon it.

I've heard mixed reviews. I haven't actually heard much of Kid A or Amnesia, I've only got Pablo Honey, The Bends and Ok Computer which I've heard are better anyway.

Although I think some of the songs may be incomplete on my CD, it took my Dad ages to download it all because a lot of them download to be blank songs. But the album was postponed due to people putting unfinished songs on the net though wasn't it?

Oooh I'm going to see them in November...yay. :) Also check E-bay in October, we're selling the other two tickets....

Got it today, I think it's really good, borrows from the Kid A era and the Bends era. I must confess I like Kid A and Amnesiac due to the fact that they're so experimental and admire the band due to the fact that they were prepared to risk putting the two albums out dispite expectations of the market. A band that can do that and carry on must be doing something right.

Also, seeing them at Glastonbury and in Cardiff in November too, yes, i can't wait!

I've listened to it. I'd say its a tad poor when compared to ok computer or bends; but it's ok. It could be a lot better though...
