Just wondering...
What do you order? Do you wait for your partner to order and pick the same thing, or something cheaper than their choice? Do you get nervous when they leave for the bathroom in the middle of the meal?

And are you female/male? That might play a (big) part in your answers.

My first titbit of advice would be to chill out about the whole thing!

I order whatever the feck I like, so long as it isn't too messy and too smelly on the breath. If someone was treating me, then I would either have a starter and a main meal or main meal and a dessert, but not all three.

I also wouldn't go crazy and order steak and champers if it was a first dinner. I'd just hope for it to be a chilled out, getting to know you interesting date.

Why get nervous if they leave for the loo? I just have a li'l drink and people watch. If they are a while, I'll maybe send a quick, discreet text.

Oooh one of my fav topics! :naughty:

It's really simple. Just relax, have a laugh and enjoy yourself.

You shouldn't worry about when to order or what to eat. Just be yourself, be happy and smile - oh, and laughs are good (have I already said that?). ;)

No need to worry about the toilet - everyone goes!!!

Seriously, there's nothing to worry about.

Enjoy. ;)

I'm male, BTW.

Chill out, calm down and relax. It is customary in restaurants for the waiter to ask the lady for her order first, so if the waiter is any good then hell ask her first. It is customary for the man to order drinks though, so choose a nice basic wine, but odnt go overboard.

And if shes goes to the loo, she may well be a while....I know this because my fiance treats a trip to the loo as a vacation, and takes her time as to the occasion.

go halves each pay for what you want seperately

It has been known for me to be bought a gorgeous dinner. In fact i ordered ribs and chips and salad and my boyfriend ordered a roll of some sort. When the meals arrived the waitress got mixed up and gave the larger meal to my boyfriend. Gosh I was hungry that day :) he's great, i'm so lucky
