I bought tickets for V2003 a couple of weeks ago, and I havent recieved them yet. Also my friend bought bonjovi tickets just after christmas, but they still havent arrived yet either. is this commonplace for tickets to take ages to arrive?

Where did you buy them from?
I've been waiting about 6 months for a particular pair of tickets & I keep being told "they'll be delivered at least 10 days before the event

When ordering tickets from the internet, remeber two things, they will either come very quickly, or about 2 weeks before the event:rolleyes: So you needn't worry :p

Tickets will usually turn up two weeks before the event :)

My Glastonbury tickets took ages last year, They just don't release them until a couple of weeks beforehand!

What's the deal with tickets coming through so dam late? Whenever I've ordered tickets they've come within the week!

i ordered my v2003 ticket on sunday. i wish i could remember how long the v2001 tickets took, but i cant.

i ordered mine from www.virtualfestivals.com (or.co.uk, cant remember that either). it forwarded me to www.wayahead.com where i bought it.

Festival tickets are getting dispatched really late these days because of the whole ebay phenomenon - the later they released, the less chance they'll get touted for silly money and real fans will get ripped off. I'm all for it. Also, less chance of losing them! hehe

yep sure am.

managed to get weekend tickets from the local tourist information center over there (am going to the chelmsford one too) but wihtout camping, they gave us the number to a 'farm' over the road tho where they have about 2000 campers from the festival.

Its worth a try.

Also depends on where you buy them.

www.ticketweb.co.uk seem to be the cheapest, and they arrive the quickest too.

But they either arrive very soon or very late. Or in my friend's case, they don't even arrive at all.
