Hi I was wondering what you guys and gals thought of Sex and the city and how you think the females in it are portrayed.

charlotte is like the opposite of miranda in the sense that Charlotte is very old fashioned and is more worried about marriage and home making than anything else where as miranda is totally devoted to her career and her desire to be successful and the thought of family is the last thing on her mind which made it so ironic that she should be the first to give birth.

Carrie is like samantha in the sense they both like relationships and male company and attention but Carrie is more moral about the whole thing and brings up the questions about life and relationships while samantha is happy to throw caution to the wind and get herself into trouble as long as it means she has had some fun en route...

am i actually helping or is this all waffling!?

i think the way the characters are portrayed is fantastic. They all seem to be very extreme, so not many people can relate to just one of them but all the girls I know can see a bit of themselves in all of the girls.
