so confusing!!!

There's this boy I like, I talk to him a lot on the internet but whenever we meet up for real we never say anything to each other. I know I don't say anything to him because I would be embarrassed, and I generally don't talk to people unless they talk to me first, but he never says anything to me, but he talks to my sister. My dad thinks it's because he likes me too but I'm not sure. I was talking to him about somebody else I liked, who I saw the other day for the first time since July, and I was telling him about how much I like this boy (there isn't a chance I could ever go out with him though, he's like 5 years older than me but we are friends) and about how I hadn't seen him since July. He sent me a text back saying 'you like him even though you havent seen him 4 MONTHS' and I thought, why does he care? It's not like he likes me like that, but my dad has got me thinking, maybe he does. What do you think? It's really confusing me! :confused:

If you cant talk, leave it, theres no point trying to build a relationship with out convosation, relationships are ment to be fun, no convo = no fun, quit while ur ahead and find someone you can be urself around (trust me).

Just stay as friends on the Internet. If you get to know him better the conversation should start to flow. Peraphs he's interested in your sister.

Im 18 now and i just have to laugh at how i used to be with boys. I was very shy!! and just to think back when i was going out with boys id be so quiet and hardly speak. If i could turn back time i would change that, because i feel so daft for being so shy-but ive completely changed now and im glad because i can talk 2 any lad at all.
Shyness does over take a lot of people but you have to fight it.
If he doesnt make the first move then why dont you. Say the first word or whatever, ask him questions about himself so he feels more comfortable and just ease into a conversation. Maybe hes just shy, so why not push yourself to do this.
I know i used to be very worryd about saying the wrong thing or saying something stupid, so if this happens laugh it off and dont dwell on it.
Believe me you need to be more forward in life-so take my owrd for it! good luck xxx

Well, he is too shy, and on of my ex blokey's was like that, a right quite muppet. I say, move on, and let him be a quiet sod to someone else's sister! You can get conversation which is more stimulating that friggin awkward silences and scary loving looks.

Time will heal, and all that, but if the boy ain't wanting to put up a fight for you, then leave the weird little sod alone!

Somehow I don't think he is interested in my sister! She's just an attention seeker, so people generally talk to her. I will try talking to him first but I don't know if I would be able to or not! He is REALLY good looking so I am usually just staring at him whenever we go out with our friends, which must make me look SO desperate, but he hasn't noticed thank the lord! I will try and talk to him like I said, and when I see him next I will give you all an update!!!
