thje highlights?.....beer! and being able to live away from your parents if you go into halls, flats etc. meeting new people is also a good point .....this is prolly all stuff ya already know but i cant think of much else emmmmmm and of course increasing you're intelegence (yeah right)

If it was me doing it, i would write about the advantages of college compared to school life:

:) meet new friends
:) new more adult enviroment
:) different free periods
:) later starts
:) earlier finishes
:) job opporthunities

cant think of anymore, i hope im some help.

oooo and theres always the social side too, but that all depends on the individual.

highlights:

meeting people, living away from home, gaining knowledge, having a laugh, having 2 lectures a week :D

lowlights:

living in a house like mine, being broke all the time, our college food :yuck:

I personally don't have any highlights of university life but lowlights for me include:
Feelings of isolation (even though we're "all in the same boat")
Lack of money
Travelling to and from uni

i love student life, just the whole concept. late starts, early finishes, a full time course being 18 hours a week ....

my unions arent the best but some of the local pubs offer good deals which is nice.

Bets bitsa uni are what everybody else has said-meeting ppl, drinking, getting independence.

Worst parts are having to juggle a part timr job so as to get some money! oh and closing time at the union!

Best bits for me include:

Student nights in night clubs, free in when you show a student card and usually cheap drink too.
Aftershock and side-kicks costing only €2 at college socials :)
