change of feelings so soon?

all hail the confusion!!

get this,

this girl who by some can be seen as young for me (she's 15 and i'm 17) and for a long time she has fancied me but i was a bit funny about the age thing.

but not long ago bout a month i decided that i like her enough to look over what other people say and i don't think 2 year age gap is bad.

so since she has liked me for so long, i was certain we would have something good, so we're girlfriend and boyfriend
we were all over each other and i thought we were both really happy

BUT!

two weeks in she is having doubts and not sure if she likes me so much in that way. it was almost like over night she came to this conclusion!

she says nothing has changed since we were friends other than we got closer??? i don't get that sentance really

sometimes i think maybe its cus she is quite young and a lot of things are new to her hence her gettin confused. and parts of me feel as if she is expecting our feelings to grow and change much quicker than they should. i dunno?

but we have decided to give it over the weekend so she can work out her silly head. she then wrote a letter and left it in my locker at school, saying she was missing me even thu it had only been a few hours, and then wrote she wasn't sure if it was a friendly 'missin you' or more.....

damn these girls! grrr

i want opnions that are nice and positive, truthful answers that are bad will be frowned on, but are probly needed :(

oh yeah and don't assume things, ask if there is info missing!

Hmm, this is a tricky one.

Has she been out with many people before?

Perhaps she thought that once you were in a relationship things would change and be different, when in actual fact most people just continue the way they were, being friends and stuff, but they kiss and cuddle and eventually more....

Perhaps she was hoping or believing that things moved quicker in a relationship?

Then there is always the possibility that your girlfriend was into the idea of having an older man, but now she has she realises it isn't what she thought it would be?

She might fancy someone else?

She might be very hormonal right now.

Who really knows what goes on in our heads - people are weird,

I think you should go with your original idea and give her a little space to work things out for herself.

maybe she's a bit scared of the age difference thing scaring her in a way....i know 2 years isn't that much, but I remember when I was 15 boys 2 years older seemed way out of my league

Maybe your not living up to her expectations? I fancyied my bloke for 10 yrs, and when we first started 'dating' i was put off by some of the things he done, because when u fancy someone you dont see the annoying little habits. Give her space to sort her head out, if ur willing to wait around, but two weeks in and shes having doubts? Things dont look great.

thinkin about it today, there was a point i had doubts. (right at the start)
thinkin i was only likin her cus she liked me but i realised i did like her. i'm hoping she comes to her senses :)

since she wrote me a letter, i wrote her a letter. i love writing its such a great way to communicate and get ish out.

in my letter i did say,
'jus leave it for the weekend or however long needs be, i won't be going anywhere (but i'm no whipped puppy dog!)'

also i wrote

'you are worth fighting for and its not i don't want to wait around for you, its jus i don't want to kid myself, if i knew for a fact it was guarenteed i would wait for as long as it took for you to be my girl again'

bloody awkward having distance giving each other space when you go same school, its like i see her twice as much now! grrrr

Aww hunny dont worry, im sure shes decided she wants to be with you, and if she doesnt then shes a silly girl, to find a man who is willing to wait (not forever i know) for someone hes only been with for 2 weeks, thats wicked.
