dos + don'ts in general

ive looked at the factsheets before anyone says, and they have some stuff like if its love, and how to kiss, and jealousy, and stuff, but i was wondering. i am in my first ever relationship and i dont want it to end so i dont want to mess up somewhere. could anybody offer simple advice about things i should do and things i shouldnt do? just for peace of mind or something........

Don't cheat on your girlfriend. Pretty simple really. Do be nice to her and do talk to her if you think you have problems.

Other than that there are no rules. A relationship is based on trust and friendship, and eventually love. You cannot live your life by rules and regulations. Granted, everyone needs a little guidance, but these are common sense.

Try not to think too much about what might go wrong, and just concentrate on the happy times you will be having together. Try not to analyse what you should and shouldn't do.

BumbleBee's right. If you worry too much about what to do and what not to do, then you won't be able to enjoy the relationship. Just be yourself and it'll be fine.

Personally, I found that everything kinda came naturally in my first proper relationship. I felt a bit like you do now, but I soon forgot all the little worries, and it was fine.

Dont put off phoning her, if u say you'll phone her at 7, make sure its around that time, not 2am when you're battered after a night out, just to say "I fucking love you i does! Buurrppp!" (ive done that a few times!:) )

Treat her nice and it'll all be fine. Stop being a stress-head mate! You sound like a decent bloke, you should'nt have too many problems!

But dont try too hard! Some women dont like to be smothered.

These rules sound nice and would be easy to stick to if girls did :p
