Small but perfectly formed

I had a great night out last night at the Powerhouse in Ayr, celebrating my brother's 18th.

My other brother said a freind had said they play "good music". I thought this meant it would be a regular club with an indie room. How wrong could I be?! The club turned out to be a small, one-room club playing nothing but good all-fashioned rawk! :cool: :) We will definitely be going there for my 21st.

Yes well it often turns out that 'small can be better' - only in the case of club size I must add. There are plenty of 'smaller' clubs in my area with local resident dj's who in my oppinion, are just as good as the big names.

You have a point there. What is the deal with "superstar DJs" (who are all up their own arses)? What is the difference between Paul Oakenfold and Gary's mobile disco? Surely it is the music they play that matters, not the DJs themselves?
