I'm just back from the white isle. The DJs that done it for me were: Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, Corvin Dalek, Pete Heller, Ralph Lawson, Jon Carter, SLAM, Erick Morillo, Ferry Corsten, John '00' Fleming, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Mauro Picotto and Joy Kitikonti.
Although I wish I could have seen: Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Green Velvet, Deep Dish, James Zabiela, Satoshi Tomiie, François K, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, X-Press 2, Darren Emerson, Timo Maas, Seb Fontaine, Oliver Klein, Steve Lawler, Nick Warren, Lee Burridge, Jimmy Van M, Danny Howells, Laurent Garnier, Layo and Bushwacka, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Futureshock, Yousef, Lottie, Roger Sanchez, Alex Gold, George Acosta, Marco V, Scot Project and Zammo. To name but a few! :D
I'd say my personal favourites are: Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg, Satoshi Tomiie, Dave Seaman, Seb Fontaine, Futureshock, Jon Carter, Paul Van Dyk, Corvin Dalek and Carl Cox.

Hmmm, my favorite djs come and go, but some old favorites still remain. I'd have to say Sasha and Sander Kleinenberg are my top two, and my second top two are Paul Van Dyk and John Digweed.
There are others I like but these are tops.

My fav have to be:
Dave Seaman had some absolutely top nights when Dave's been playing.
Nick Warren, although I have gone off him a bit recently
George Thompson, relatively unknown, but has played cream a few times recently and is probably the best at getting a crowd going
Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia and Danny Howells.
Was dissapointed when I heard Kleinenburg. Might just have been one of those nights though.;)

lol BARTONIOUS sum list :)
my favs are tiesto, john 00 fleming, oakey (tho over last cuple of years hes bin a bit dodgy sumtimes) and PVD (yer i like my trance)
Quite like the likes of sasha, digweed, picotto, etc, but only in small doses (no more than a couple of hours). Trance is bout the only thing i can listen to all night no worries. After a couple of hours of sum prog/techno/whatever i just loose interest and need to listen to summit else.

Never been bothered by who the DJ is. All i care about is the type of music he/she plays. Judge Jules could shit in me lap and i wouldn't know him from Adam. And i don't even know who Adam is! :)

Cosmic Gate = 1 person! :p
Here, if you like Picotto then you should try listening to some real techno DJs like Chris Liebling, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and DJ Rush.

Fergie is fuckin awful just now. Not liking his new sound at all, he should go back to his old ways of just banging hard house; what he does best.

I heard him at Godskitchen in Ibiza and he was playing a wierd mix of hardhouse and techno, I coulnd't really get into it. Although I was feeling pretty wierd that night, maybe I just wasn't up for it!

on a different note, has anyone heard this tune Flesh & Bones - Rigor Mortis (I Love You), great tune for any trance fans, it was in the european charts quite a while ago but i believe its only bein released onto our shelves within the last few weeks...finally does ne1 know any good places to get hard to find vinyls
BARTONIOUS

Not heard the tune, but I know where I find hard to find vinyl, well actually I've forgot the address, but I'll ask my mate cos he knows.
About Fergie, he thnk he's trying to do something new, and credit to him for having a go at something different, should listen to a few more new sets and see if I can get into it. Now here's a great Fergie set: Essential Mix Live at Godskitchen @ Code 06/05/2001. BANGING! :D

must c if i can get a listen to that 1, i often tape him on the radio, so ive got a few sets, but unfortunately only on shitty tape. fergie played an absolute screamer this summer at Godskitchen Global Gathering in stratford, i flew over to him specially...well along with a few more of my idols, jules & picotto etc

You can download sets from here: http://www.slsk.org
Picotto is alright but his music is "watered down techno" as in, it's a bit lighter and not the real deal. If you like his stuff, try listening to some real techno DJ's and see what you think.
Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, DJ Rush and Chris Liebling would be good DJ's to start with.

Agree totally..since hes gone on Radio 1, hes gone all commercial..ive got tapes from about 18 months ago, along with Lisa Lashes, they were class..
I taped his show on Friday night...and its music for girls...dont know if thats purely cos Radio have some say over his choice..but its not the OLD fergie.

Actually, it was sarcastic. Shame you can't convey a tone of voice over the net at times.

Yo Fergie is still HARD when he plays live. He's well different on the Radio, much softer. But still, his live sets are wierd these days.
