Hi hedonists, yes im a newbie so dont hate me too much.
I just wondered if any of you have bin toThe Manor Born @ Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgfield?
It's a once a month club night held in the lushes Georgian surroundings of Hardwick Hall. Theres 2 rooms, the main room houses the guest DJs such as over the last 7months: Danny Rampling, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Smokin Jo, Tim Deluxe, Terry Hunter and many more, not to mention the residents such as Carl and Pete Wharrier. The smaller room, I guess you would call it the 'back room' is home to some of the most soulful beets i ever did hear. They play a smooth veriety of funk and soul, very chilled out and down tempo, a good place to start the night b4 the guest DJ comes on in the main room.
Manor Born is on the last sunday of every month and Bank Hols, its £10 entry, around 8.30-1.30, really nice crowd, very hot and sweaty when full.
Its looks a bit like im trying to plug the place, well i guess I am, cos it Rocks...:cool:

I was a regular for couple of years..then started getting barred out for various reasons (nothing sinister just getting over excited and climbing on top of doors and in window sills). The gaffa, John Adamson, is a top bloke and always kept letting me back in.

For top dj's tho, a club in Newcastle Centre, "Legends" on Friday has two of hard house's finest as residents and its a little known secret. But that is often the case, that the lesser known dj's do top sets and are happy banging it out, exactly as they like it, not having to make any compromises.
