Ok this may sound dumb what whats the UK club Scene like?
Here in NZ we usually get really pissed at home and go to town dance and have a laugh Because drinks arent too cheap (NZD$5) (Couple of Euro) for a tequilla shot, It makes the night more exciting in a way because town usually picks up around 1am.
Whats it like over there??

Well clubs over here rock!
London has a really good club scene, I live about 50 miles from london and will go there for a night out, most clubs are open til 6/7am over the weekends and the people are all out for having a good time.
Thats not to say we dont have our share of pants clubs too tho!
Hiya NZL,
I'll direct Justin Credible to this post, he lived in the UK and now lives in New Zealand so he'll be best qualified to make a comparison for you.
He'll also porbably bully you into attending his pre-party launch event in Auckland... (:p @ Justin)

London does have a few good clubs but there are a lot of crap ones too.
Most of the big ones I have been too are really over hyped and are full of annoying people.
Fabric for one, I know the Drum and Bass night is supposed to be good but dont go on a saturday. The two times I've been the mixings been shite and its got a shit layout. That and the only dealers in there pedle crap.
However I think because there are so many clubbers in London that it suports a wide range of clubs and therefore some are really good.
It can be expencive though, most places are £5-10 to get in, some up to £15 or £20, which really is taking the piss a bit.
Also drinks are really dear, a beer will be about £2.50+ a bottle.
Drugs however are dirty cheep with pills going for a fiver in clubs now a days.

Hey there, it was about time someone else from NZ came over here and joined up... Thank you Kaz for my wonderful introduction :)
Basically, the UK club scene is quite a bit different, I left last year and had been used to vocal trance and hard house.. I found the music here different, harder almost...
Clubbers in my opinion are more open minded out here and friendlier and they dress better here (its a more open dress code here), but the music is better in the UK...
I'm lucky being in Auckland on the K'road scene and doing the world tours (Gatecrasher/Slinky etc.) when they come over... I got to more big events here than I did in the UK.
Drugs as you know cost a fortune out here, I pay about $60 a pill, $25 an acid, $110 a gram of speed/ketamine and about $1 a ml for GHB/GBL... The drug scene out here sucks major, pills are so easy to get hold of in the UK, every club has hundreds of dealers and its not a struggle and you pay about $13 a pill!!! The drug scene here is more diverse, where as in England its very much the 3-4 pills a night, 1g of speed perhaps and some alcohol.. which lets be honest would set you back a good $500 or so if you tried to do the same.
Not everywhere in the UK is open all night like it seems to be here, of course the major towns are, but I was quite used to in Blackpool finishing my night at 2/3am and going home to get munted and chill out there...
Don't get me wrong, the UK certainly still tops the lot when it comes to music, you'll hear the latest stuff first (and not 3 months later in dribs and drabs) as well as you hear lots of bootlegs (ie. dance tracks with acapellas over them... ie.. Another Chance with 'its going to be a fine night tonight' over the top of it.. stuff that doesn't even manage to get past customs)
Its different... ohh the other thing which I've certainly noticed out here.. the hand stamp thing - where you get your hand stamped on entering and can come and go freely all night... nope, that doesn't really happen over there... most clubs don't offer than policy (or didn't whilst I was there)
... and as Kaz was saying, yes.. do get yourself up to Auckland for September 27th for N2O... http://www.n2o.co.nz for more details.. he-he-he... and these might be of interest to you:
