It was indeed a quality night .... Excellent sets from all the DJ's and the vibe from the crowd was outstanding .... Has to be one of the best nights I've been to in quite sometime .. :D

What was the venue and security like?
I used to go to that venue all the time, in fact it used to be the best venue by far in London, Ahhh the Drome, we miss you.
I've heard that the security company that have taken over are a bit moody, how tight are the searches, can you smoke puff etc?

Venue itself wasn't bad at all ..... Considering some of the sweat boxes I've been in the fact that this place was well ventilated was highly cool ....
As for the security .... what can I say .... Rocked up at the door and assumed the old "arms out" pose .... Bouncer patted me down and got to my wallet (still in my pocket) .. ASked me if it was my wallet to which I replied Yes and that was it ... No asking me to get it out so he could check it and he didn't even get down to the lower pockets on my trousers (which were stuffed to bits with lollies and stuff) .... Had to be one of the most lax searches I've had for ages ..... They do have a metal detector though ...
The aroma of puff was present in places but I didn't see anyone openly rolling ... Mind you I spent most of the night on the dancefloor .. :D

They did seem a lot more relaxed than most bouncers I've ever encountered ..... and that's saying something ....
You're right about Camden though it does get a bit like a sardine tin in a sauna down there most times ..... Lost my mate in one of the side alcoves at Frantic once .... He spent 20 mins trying to find the door convinced it was a hallway .. He had to be rescued by a couple of girls who were dancing nearby and took pity on him ...... We've never let him forget it either ... ;)

The camden palace is one of the best places in london for clubbing if you ask me, I love the place.
Ahhh Peach! Your an old friend, the music maybe a bit shit but the crowd are nuts and really interesting to watch.

It is a top venue .... Although I reckon a bit of air con would be a nice touch as it gets a bit on the drippy side ...
The Peach crowd are good to watch though ..... but even better to join :D
The "Peach Vs. Slinky" night coming up should be a bit of a belter
