What has been your definative clubbing moment ? The most memorable ?

Mine was my first pill in a club, passion in Coalville, a mini bus full of us went up, it was quite an experience, the people and atmosphere were perfect and as a club should be, i was that rapped up in that side of it i only wandered across the dance floor once :eek: amazing night.

Ive got loads, its too hard to really choose a favourite.

One would have to be when i took the bus down to Torquay with some mates. We walked round for what seemed like ages trying to find a B n B, then finally checked in, quickly had a shower and got ready, then hit the town. It made it such a good experience cos we were all in a new place, with different clubs and we didnt know the people down there so it was a totally new experience. It was brilliant, i got absoultely wrecked and finding the bnb was hard when we were totally pissed. it made a change from the usual clubs we go to.

Another is when i went up on stage in another nightclub. Had to do a snogathon infront of th whole club with a complete stranger. to make it worse pictures of it were on the internet, well there still on there actually! cringe

My first clubbing experience was pretty good too, it was so different to how i thought it would be and i felt great that i had got into a club at 16. looking back thats pretty sad but at the time i was pretty proud of myself, since i always thought i look pretty young for my age.

Clubbing last Saturday was one of the best too, i was pole dancing and really liked it cos i was getting so much atttention, it was great. then i went home, smoked some weed and got laid, when i usually just go home and crash out, so there was good too!

theres so many more but i wont bore you all, but its too hard to chose one particular fave clubbing experience, theres been too many.

Mine is pretty much the same as ebb's.

Me and a few others took a pill, and sat talking 'till we came up. When we did it was the most amazing experience. I got a rushy feeling for the first 15 minutes, like you could feel the blood pumping in your head. Then I just felt totally...uh...I dunno the word. Dunno if it's my imagination, but looking back it was like you could appreciate the music more. So much so I was dancing for four hours and completely lost track of the time!

Pills are still good, but the first one was the best ;)

a friend and i dropped pills on our way to a club. when we got there, the line was really long, so we decided to wait for it to get shorter while in the car. the shit hit us at the same time...it was like simultaneous orgasm. it was great! the best thing about it is we're really comfortable with each other, nothing beyond friends. we just sat in the car getting horny and touching each other...no kissing. he kept saying, "normalize, we've got to normalize"...pill knocked us on our asses and we needed to get past the security guards. took us a while to pull our shit together and get out of the car. its great to have a guy with a hot body that i can touch and enhance the roll without any expectations of more or strings attached.

Best clubbing moment of my life would have to be at the millenium where I was at a black and white party. I was with my big brother and his mates and we had already taken quite a lot of drugs(to be precise, 3 E's, snorted 2 lines of speed, and been sniffing poppers most of the night).

The reason it was my best moment was the way they brought in the millenium, the dance room was quite small so there was a lot of atmosphere as it was packed but the music went to just the synths playing and there was no beat, the DJ did this for about 30 seconds to build up the crowd when midnight did strike. The minute it did, the beat came back in and everyone went mad, it was the best feeling ever, seeing everyone happy and being with my bro was great.

I also pulled a lady from aberdeen and went back to her flat :D

That was my best moment as well as my best night ever

Ditto, the atticipation and the build up, what was to lie ahead? Working a breakfast shift thinking 'I'm going to drop for the first time tonight, FANTASTIC!' Walking halfway across Derby, spliff in hand, to Progress the feeling inside of me was tremendous. Then finally dropping enroute to the club, walking in, COME ON! Definately at Passion, having dropped for the first time in a club, the second time ever, coming up and becoming totally transfixed with a fit girl blowing bubbles sitting on that ledge near the side of those stairs leading up to the next level in the chill out area. I just stood there thinking this is fucking brilliant, began talking to her and her friend, and then decided they were simply my best friends, and danced with them and their friends (also, naturally my best friends too!) for most of the night, leaving the friends I was with to there own devices! Oh happy days!

I'm afraid it's gotta be that first pill thing! I went to a gay club with loads of mates for a laugh but it was so cool cos we didn't have loads of leary blokes coming on to us. The atmosphere and music was wicked (but that may have been the pill talking!)...plus I loved the world lol!

There have been so many that I could be typing all night, but the best has to be.... 21st July 2001... Pendragon @ The Fridge.

There was an atmosphere you could breathe... a bouncy crowd with some uplifting yet banging tunes playing. The pyrotechnics were stunning, and almost everyone I spoke to said the same thing... 'I could never have imagined this night could be so good'. I met some damn good people, who I am still good friends with, and everyone had one of the best nights theres ever been, which only added to the atmosphere. 7 hours have never gone by so quick. It was the best night of my life, and a night which also changed my life.

Now I feeling all nostalgic....:):(:)

Going to Atomic Jam at the Que club for the first time and standing at the top of the seats at the back of the main room and staring out over the sea of waving arms ......

Gatecrasher at the millenium when the Chemical Brothers dropped the Beatles into the middle of their set and the whole crowd started singing along ....

and the final one is another Gatecrasher one as well ....

The first of their Summer Sound Systems .... Lying on my back in the middle of the grass staring straight up at the sky watching the laser beams trace paths overhead with my 2 best mates lying next to me ......

And that doens't include anything MoonDance related either ...;)

God there's loads, bein taken up to the balcony of the que club in birmingham blindfolded as I was comin up, uncoverin my eyes to see a sea of glowsticks and people dancin...... havin a massive group hug with about 30 ppl I'd never seen before in my life in the middle of Bagleys.... the list is endless - clubbin just rules! :D

My favourite clubbing moment was when is was Jeff Mills @ Red Box in Dublin, banging out the techno for about 1½hr then he dropped 'Finally' by 'Kings of Tomorrow' the Danny Tenaglia mix the one with the accapella at the start, the whole club went maaaaaaad, he played that tune out and then banged out the techno for another 1½hr, man what a night

Have to go with the CookieMonster on the NYE Gatecrasher @ Don Valley Stadium. Hearing Sgt Peppers Loney Hearts Club (Reprise) being dropped in to the middle of the set was such a surprise. Awesome night - apart from the bloke who climbed up the support beam and then across the GC ceiling decorations.

Other great memories include taking the two podiums by storm in 5th Ave with the CookieMonster. 5th Ave......those were the days...

More recently, the Big Beach Boutique 2. 50 yards from the front, attempting to dance on the pebbles. Great music, great crowd, great weather - and it was all free!

I've had some stormers and have to agree that the first drop is right up there, but the best is a choice between...

First drop with my two best friends, in Bakers, Birmingham. Never dropped with them before but the love the thre of us shared that night was so fucking intense, it's never died. It bought us so much closer it has to be in my list of top ones.

but I think the winner is...

Peach awards at CAmden Palace, 2 months ago. We had VIP access due to knowingthe right people, and as it was awards night there were quite a few faces in the VIP area that we knew, which was cool. Chatting to some of our heroes! But the highlight and my best clubbing moment, was when we noticed the three "page 3 stunnas" that had been presenting awards were on their own, so webounced up and started chatting :D (God bless the friendly quality of MDMA!) 5 minutes later me and my two best mates were stood, holding hands, ge6t head massages from them!!! IT was the most intense buzz and you could feel the energy flowing through us. We spent about 1/2 hour with them and it was just awesome. As we turned to walk away, Graham Gold came over and gave us a Polaroid each of us getting our massages! THree of us in a line with stunners rubbing our heads and the most insane grins on our faces!!!

My best has to be just after I moved to Upstate NY and I went to Club Limelight in NYC.
Before I got there I got peer pressured into 2 drops of acid (and I took a Fararri as planned). When I got to the parking garage bathroom, the checkered walls were jumping at me.

Going inside, I found out Limelight is an old ass church turned club, with all these crazy stained glass pics and shit.
After I stood around fumbling and trying to dance for a while, it was all too much for me, so I went upstairs to this couch across from two bathroom. I sat there tripping balls until a Korean girl sat next to me (whose number I lost BEFORE leaving the club). She was on some mellowed out E, and I was real mellowed too. So we sat on the couch slumped over and talking for *4 hours* while my friends all danced to DJ Keoki (who I couldn't hear play because of some dumbass speakers pumping Jungle all night) on the dance floor. The girl and I exchanged face massages almost the entire time, it was so badass to be on the same low, mellow level as someone else and get to chill for a while just talking and being interested in what each other has to say.

One important thing I learned:
Go to Limelight and trip balls. The scenery is insane and everyone is so blown up and drugged up, everyone could careless if you dance like a dork or walk around with drool hanging out of your mouth.

Best time was when I dropped for the first time. Was a typical indie kid and used to slag off dance music but agreed to give it a try. Went to see Paul Van Dyk at Gatecrasher and it completely changed my perceptions.

It was fucking mental seeing all the mad cyber kids and chatting away to everyone cos normally I'm pretty shy and don't like talking to people in clubs. Everyone was so friendly and happy and I woke up the next day not being able to speak cos I'd lost my voice speaking to people.

Now a regular clubber but having problems finding people to come with me in London cos none of my mates down here like it

Fav moment has to be when it had just turned dark after i had taken a shit load of mushies at glastonbury FAITHLESS rocked my world for two hours 70,000 people just couldnt keep still the whole ampitheatre was buzzing.

umm let me see....

First time at atomic Jam was amazing, anyone who isn't impressed with the Que club needs shooting, the night was also helped by the fact that i dropped (literally on the floor) my last pill in the girls loo and whilst looking for it found a roll of four big fat mitsis, result... one very happy but equally messy girl!

Some of my best clubbing moments have been in the middle of the dance floor and hearing a really good tune being dropped in, nothing beats that tingly feeling all over your body when 'your' tune is played, for example the last Garlands party at Space this year, Billy Gene, Shiny disco balls and that i feel love tune (not sure it's actually called that but im sure you know the one i mean!) consecutively (again spelt??)

Seeing Green Velvet live at Cocoon at Amnesia in Ibitcha this year was awesome... oh an Sven Vath wasn't bad either!!!

Some of the funniest moments have been in a not so well for wear state, including accidently telling Erick Morillo i thought his set was shit at Pacha (I have a tendancy not to recognise people when i'm trashed!)... also resulting in me chatting my own boyfriend after not recognising him and the general stuff... forgetting how stairs work and being found in a waldrobe 24 hours after a very messy mushroom session are always fond memories

.... The good old Hotdog days always make me smile, and there's always many a good night in Coalville.... :D :D :D ahh now i want to go out... no fair!:(

My best was my first, but it went on all weekend, did my first in Godskitchen in Brum then headed upto Sheffield & did it all again on the Saturday night in Club Bed... Magic weekend...

Other great moments, I had double dropped as i went into Homelands 2002 so i would not get caught with anything on me & just lay on the grass with the sun on my face for ages absoulty happy.

Another one that springs to mind is walking into the smallest room at The cross & they were playing just the instrumental from Shiny disco balls & loads of people jumping to it, i kept walking out & then back in & getting higher each time....

Fantastic, I cant belive one of you mentioned Peach, I love that place, I've had some top nights there but you really cant take it seriously what so ever. Its just a laugh.

I think one of the best parties I've been to was a night called Liquid Faries, which was a trance party organised by hippy women in the middle of no-where in South Affrica. It was open air and really warm and very chilled.

Best clubbing moment for me was at Hotdog Under The Influence in september last year...Anne Savage was playin and I was dancing at the front, but I didn't realise that every time she changed the record, my eyes went straight down to her arse and I just couldn't stop staring...I think she realised though, because at the end of her set, she came out of the booth and I was talking to her about absolute shit for about 10 mins and as she walked away, she shouted "See ya, you little perv!" and just started laughing... :rolleyes:
