Hey everyone!

I'm going to the legendary island this summer for 10 days.

Has anyone got any tips, advice or info on cheap packages, flight websites/companies, accommodation?

Aaaaaw, I'm gutted :(

I was supposed to be there now working in the sun for 6 months this summer :(
I might be going for a couple of weeks now, but it wont be a working holiday and I won't be living in my own appartment :(
There's always next year :D

I've just got back (a few hours ago) from 5 days in San Antonio.

The West End there has to be seen to be believed, its a complete assault on the senses.

Drinks can be quite expensive so walk up and down before going into any bars as the promoters will offer you cheaper drinks offers...like buy one get one free (eg in a bar called Capones) or buy a vodka coke get a shot free (eg in Tropicana).

Watching the sunset is a must, but the bars on the sunset strip are v expensive, so buy a bottle of booze and sit on the rocks or the harbour wall to watch. If you want to take photos of the sunsey we were advised to put sunglasses in front of the camera lens coz the colours come out better that way.

If you do stay in San An and want to go to the beach, get a return boat trip to Cala Bassa...its gorgeous!

It has been the best holiday ever...it's just fab! I found everybody to be really friendly and its useful to ask people who've been there longer than you where the good places are to go to.
