No..I was going to once, because I was completely bored, 14, and sad. My Dad caught me sneaking out, probably a good thing. I suppose it depends on what kind of club you are going to, you wouldn't really go to a "meat market" place alone, (well sleazy blokes might..) but to a "proper" club if you just want to dance or get wrecked, I don't see too much wrong with that. As long as you are safe.

i did once, although not intentionally.
i was working til 10.30pm and i really wanted to go out that nite cos it was gonna be a big nite. i had arranged to meet my mates at 11.15 at a certain place in the club. they werent there, so i spent half an hour looking for them and then thought fuck it. i walked around by myself, met new people, saw old friends, and generally just had a really good night.
now when i go out clubbing i tend to go down with my mates for the first few drinks and then we all wander off our separate ways. it can have its advantages.

I've never been clubbing on my own but used to go to the pub nearly everyday on my own (well with my son, no comments please). My sister would then pick my son up at about 7 from my house (conveniently up the road from the pub) i would go back down and meet some mates then go onto the clubs

I'd go on my own to the clubs that I know well enough, becasue I'm more likely to see familliar faces, and I know what sort of crowd it'll be.
I've been clubbing just with my mate or girlfriend before, but however big the group I'm with, I always wander off on my own anyway.
Mindless all the way

I've never done it myself, but I would if it was one of the clubs which I go to a lot, and therefore would be likely to meet familiar faces anyway. Or if it was a really good night, and there was no one else going.
I have a friend who used to regulary go out on his own, in a bid to meet new people.

Absolutely! When I started clubbing none of my mates were into it, so I went on my own. Buggered if I was going to deny myself the pleasure just because they were boring ;) Face it, by 4am you've usually lost your mates and are gabbing to some complete stranger anyway, so it makes little difference!

I'd be perfectly happy to go by myself. Even when I do go with my friends I always seem the odd one out as I am completely happy just to do my own thing... sometimes I can have the most fun just by myself in a club, I guess you can do whatever you want and talk to whoever you want without your friends watching you!
I'm quite used to going to my local pub on my own whereas some of my friends find that really strange, they said they'd feel really self-conscious. Clubbing on my own wouldn't bother me...although I wouldn't do it all the time!

I've done it once whilst in Cardiff for the Fa Cup. The rest of the lads just wanted to stay in the bars, I got talking to a girl who was in a similar group so she took me to the club (Xeus I think!) because I didn't know where it was. I then went in on my own and had a fine night meeting loads of people and being 1 of the last to leave. On reflection not very bright, especially when you come outside at 4.30 not having a clue where you are or how to speak! But all that added it for me.

No way. Im not a very confident out going person and i would hate it. And knowing my luck i would get lost or something. Something bad would happen.
Yes in two circumstances, firstly if i'm pillin, its oh so easy to make best freinds in 5 minutes on the little disco biscuits, but it would have to be in pillin club, no drunken scally city centre affairs.
Secondly, when i'm too pissed to know any different, its happened before, too much beer, get back 'where did you end up ?' well.............. :D always a good night when you end up basically lost !

Is a bit of a scary thought but was something I decided to do last year... in style. basically I was given a week off work with practically no notice and rather than stay at home bored decided to bugger off to Ibiza for 5 nights. of course it was to short notice to grab any mates to go with and I knew nobody else who was out on the island.
Was ace and met loads of people, a few of which are now real mates

Hell Yes, I've been to many clubs alone, my attitude has always been "well if I wanna go out and they don't, why let it ruin my night?" and used this metafore whilst in the armed forces in 1999 and went to the launch nights in London for Fabric and Home and boy did I have a good time!!

I did it once after ringing all my mates to ask em if they wanted to go out and none of then had any cash. So I thought f**K it i am off! I live in milton keynes and jumped the train down to london and went to camden palace. I had THE best night ever met soo many people, if you are on your own people just seem to adopt ya and take you under their wing and introduce you to all there mates.
Because I was on my own i made more of an effort to chat to people instead of staying with just a few mates.
Would recommend it as long as you have your head screwed on and know what you are doing. Cos it is very easy for ppl to take advantage of mess with ya if you are on your own and f**ked!
