Hello.
I am going to Benidorm in October and was wondering if anyone has been and can tell me anything about the place? Climate, best places to visit etc etc.
Thanks! :)

You see, this is why nobody posts where they should! Nothing gets replied to if it is tucked away in here!

It is a month later, but I thought I'd try again maybe....?

I would have answered the first time round, but I seldom visit the travel forum.
I've been to Benidorm for a night out many times. I used to go on holiday to another town in Alicante, and Benidorm has certainly the best nightlife. I've never stayed there, but it looks like you'll be lucky to place the towel on the beach. There are some 150,000 holiday beds available so in the summer months it's rather crowded. The place is a hit with both Spanish and foreign tourists, although they tend to hang out in different areas. Try the waterfront for some of the best bars (together with some dodgy entertainment venues for OAPs). The nightclubs are scattered around the town, or at least they were 10 years ago when I last went. Try Pacha for stylish (but bloody pricey).
Benidorm also has one of the biggest water parks in Europe, well worth checking out.
In short, not a pictoresque place, but a good resort for sea, sand, sex, drinks, etc. Have fun :D

But if you're going in October you definitively will be able to put the towel down, I must add.
The weather should be very warm by British standards, although there is a slight chance of rain at that time of the year. Not sure whether the water park will be still open, but the beach is lovely anyway!

I have been benalmadena which is near benidorm i think? and it was really hot to hot infact it was 35 degrees in the shade, but later in the year it should cool down to a nice being able to sit out in the sun temperature :)

I went to Benidorm a couple of weeks ago and had the best holiday ever!
The temperature then (August) averaged around a scorching 37 degrees celsius.
Make sure you check out the theme park Terra Mitica, it's only 30 Euros (about £20) and is well worth it, but be prepared to get very wet!
The nightlife was pretty good too. The square was the area where all the best bars were, just up from Levante Beach. My favourite bar was Beachcombers. We went with Escapades and stayed at the Payma Apartments and it was really, really close to both the beach and the nightlife.
Hope you have a really good holiday!!
