Being a regular isn't about how many posts you do, its about how often you post...

Obviously if you post frequently over a 3 month period you can be considered a regular. We're all about quality of posts and actually hanging around to get to know the gang.. :)

I live in South Lincolnshire with my two younger sisters (13 and 15) and my parents. I go to a sixth form school where I'm studying for my A-levels (just finished my AS-levels a couple of weeks ago). I work in a coffee shop in my town every other weekend where I get paid an amazing £2.50 an hour :(

Well it seems like the mass exodus from liv4now has been somewhat pointless as this site seems just as drab and inane, and sadly still has lumps of congealed lard like tenbellies and blueeyes clogging up it's verbal arteries, hindering and stunting the flow of stimulating and interesting chat. In fact, if anything the level of chat on the boards is even less cerebrally challenging than the piss-poor conversational "skills" displayed on liv4now. Mind you, the boards there have improved immeasurably since its most illiterate and ignorant members elected to chat here instead!

I'm a Physicist. Yes that's right, a bit of a nerd, but I've seen enough blank looks when I tell people what I do that I've learned to embrace my nerdiness!

I have a personality and can even talk about things other than physics. The best thing about my study (I'm a PhD student) is that I have to travel. I'm spending 3 months in Europe at the moment. Life's tough:)

Not only I'm a physicist, but I a woman too. A little unusual but thats changing. If nothing else it means there are always lots of available guys around.

I live in Melbourne, in Australia, and love it. I also love reading, swimming and (making and looking at) sculpture. Any 3D artwork is great.

2) When I was seven I ACCIDENTALLY chopped of the end of my pet gerbil's tail when I shut the cage door on it

3) I'm not a chocolate lover!

4) White roses are my favorite!

5) I'm addicted to candy banannas and shrimps. I'm eating them right now!

6) When i was 12 I waited in line for an hour to get an autograph from some guy I'd never heard of before. I still don't know who he was!


7) I love candles! I can't help but play with the wax though, always!

8) I wear my hair down everyday.

9) My favourite colour is pink.

10) Nothing better than walking on the beach barefoot during sunset...

11) My mum had a miscarriage before she had me.

Well I wasn't sure how to get started with all this so I thought I might post an introduction...well i'm a 19 year old chick from Melbourne, Australia. I quit uni at the start of last year and got myself a job working for the courts in Melbourne, it's fairly interesting and now I wanna study law aswell as do a million other things.

During my free time I hang out with my friends, go to our local pub and clubs, read and just generally just hang about. Don't have a boyfriend but enjoy having casual flings now and then. I'm a pretty average girl really.

In general, Mil.com is a very conservative/Republican oriented site. I tend to be an Independent, and don't accept dogma perpetuated by any "camp" without some level of doubt. Yet I do have an interest in military matters, particularly of a historical bent regarding the Vietnam War and the current issues going on in Iraq (or the lack of implications..however, you want to look at the matter.)

Frankly, I joined this site because one your your regular posters, Uncle_Joe found it fit to make a comment about me on these forums, although I've never had contact with him in any other venue.

So, I figured since I was a topic of conversation, that I'd show up and find out what this site is all about. :cool:

I work as a locksmith at the moment which is a good job as i'm working with people and i'm always busy, well it keeps me out of trouble anyway. My hobbies are reading, cycling and watching f1. what i did when i first joined is that once i started getting to know users i searched for their old posts. it sorta allows you to get to know bits and bobs about people ...

Hi there, don't know how many of you will remember me - it's been a long time since I posted here last. Well, I'm bored so thought I might give this place another try as recently I remembered it's existance!

So, about me;
My name is Rachael, I'm 23, I'm from Leicester and my life is very boring in a stressful sort of way.
Since I last posted here I got engaged, moved out of home, bought a house, watched my Mum and Dad get divorced, nearly get married (would have been a couple of weeks ago), kicked out my fiancee, moved in with my grandparents and started selling my house (the last three are pretty recent events).

So anyway, I'm gonna give this place another shot. If any of you use LiveJournal then feel free to add me, my ID is phlump.

Well when we moved in together it was kind of because we had to - I had nowhere else to go because Mum & Dad were getting divorced. Then we got our own place and things were ok I suppose but deep down I guess I always knew that we weren't quite right for each other.

After 3 years of hoping my feelings would change (and agreeing to marry him, booking the wedding, etc..) I plucked up the courage to call the whole thing off. Now I guess I'm starting over which is kind of scary. I've moved in with my grandparents in the short term and we have just started the process of selling the house we bought together (fingers crossed the buyer doesn't pull out and I should be filthy rich by the end of January :D)
