what would everyone have as there prefered line up for the world cup and who would they take in they squad!!!
heres mine
---------------------Seaman------------------
Neville------Campbell-----Ferdinand------Cole
------------------Gerrard--------------------
Beckham--------------------------------Barmby
-------------------Scholes-------------------
-----------------------------Heskey----------
----------------Owen-------------------------
but maybe put carragher or le saux in as left back to get more of a solid unit!!
Squad
Seaman
Martyn
James
G.Neville
Carragher
Keown
Ferdinand
Campbell
Southgate
Le Saux
A.Cole
Gerrard
Beckham
Scholes
Barmby
Dyer
Butt
J.Cole or Murphy or Anderton
Owen
Heskey
Fowler
Sheringham
that would be mine but i have a feeling crap like phil neville and mcmanaman will go
and apart from the obvious 4 match winners england have owen, gerrard, beckham and scholes i think big bad bruno will cause defences allsorts of problems with his power and aggresion and if he finds form in front of goal he could be englands unexpected hero!!but i am crapping myself already with g.neville in the squad

My team is similar to yours, i would go with dyer on the left though and sheringham just behind owen. I am also monitoring bowyer, he could be the ? midfielder but murphy, anderton, mcmanaman, j cole and dunn are all viable options. I don't like le saux or phil neville but i suppose we don't have to many options to cover a cole

I would have the lineup as follows:
The england squad lined up against a wall, closely followed by a firing squad!!!!!!
I think the chances would make it really good for england to lose if that happened. Oh wait you want to win eh??!?!?

Pritty solid line-up. The only thing I would do is to find someone to replace Heskey.

England craps itself with you my friend
My team would be pretty much the same. I'd be forced to play Neville and Heskey I think. Not sure about Barmby either. Would it be better if we had someone like Sinclair maybe?
I'd also have Neville and Cole overlapping alot...
*sticks neck out* Nigel Martyn between the sticks as well... and then theres Joe Cole who is surely one of the promising players in the country....

No. Never. Ever. Keown should never again be seen in an England shirt - they shouldn't even sell him a replica one. I have to ask - why?
Throw out Seaman, hes past it. Heskey, donkey donkey!
Martyn
Carragher, Campbell ,R Ferdinand, Ash Cole.
Beckham, Bowyer, Scholes, Gerrard.
Owen Fowler
SUBS:
David James
Jon Woodgate
Sol Campbell OR Joe Cole.
Nicky Barmby
Alan Smith
I aint sure of the full details of the squad.

the way heskey and owen have been playing hte last 2 league games they should definatly start heskey has now scored 5 in 3 games thats a striker at his best!!!
But what are THREE West Ham players doing in the squad?
so it would be: (4-4-2)
Martyn
G.Neville, Campbell, Ferdinand, Powell
Beckham, Scholes, Gerrard, Heskey
Owen, Ricketts

Id like to see 3-5-2 but its too late to experiment so in 4-4-2
Nigel Martyn
Ashley Cole,Rio Ferdinand,Campbell,D Mills
Keiron Dyer,Gerrard,Lee Bowyer,Beckham

3-5-2 is pish, so is Robbie Fowler. 4-0 anyone?
Heskey keeps proving me right, the man is quality at its best. 5 in 3 is it, form for you! And he knows how to play with Owen.
Keown would be in to provide experience, cos you cant win a World Cup with a kiddies defence.

But you aint gonna win the World Cup with a bunch of tossers, who should have retired years ago either.

Fowler is pish? He played with Owen before Heskey did and hes scored more goals across the season, he is just plain wicked
