View Full Version : Asshole of the week

Our third placed entry comes from Stamford Bridge, the home of the (ahem) "mighty" Blues. It was here that Taricco thought that no-one would see his tackle on Le Saux and thought that the crowd would stand and applaud...rumours are of a flight to Argentina being booked...

For second place, we visit the Boleyn Ground, Upton Park, home of the 'Hammers'. It is at this (ahem) 'magnificent' stadium that we find a certain Mr David James. Now David appears to have visited his barber this week, and had a pretty pattern sculpted from his hair. Still shipped five goals though, fuckwit. But at least the hair will look good in the papers...

And finally our winner. For this we make the long trip 'oop north' to the home of the (ahem) "most passionate" supporters in the land (although we never mention the abyssmally low crowd during the pre Keegan days). On the hallowed turf of St James' Park, Newcastle we find Mr Alan Shearer. Confident swagger, arrogance beyond the call he strides up to slot home a clear winner in the last minute, thus keeping the 'magpie's' slim championship hopes alive. Except things don't quite go to plan. He doesn't even hit the target. ROFLMFAO.

Also the referee at Sheffield Utd vs West Brom today. United were down to six, yes SIX players due to three sendings off and two limping off injured. With this in mind the ref called time with 8 minutes to go with West Brom leading 3-0.

Referee, Mr Wolstenholme, you are a soft wanker! You should have let Sheff Utd suffer till the death.

The referee is not elligble...

A quick check of the rules would show you that once a team is down to six players the game MUST be abandoned...

The Football League must now meet to decide on what action to take...cue big fine for the Blades and a 3-0 win awarded to the Albion...

Really?, didn't know that. I would have just loved to have seen Sheff Utd suffer for the last 8 minutes with six men. Pure class!

There is somewhat a inkling of hope. I hope to god we don't drop down.

Also must mention the mighty Burton Albion for reaching the FA Trophy Semi-final after beating Chester City 2-0 at home this afternoon. All this infront of a crowd of 3,584 <IMG SRC="eek.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Come on you Brewers!
