Alot of us here watch alot of sport. What is the funniest thing you've heard in a football stadium (or other sporting event)? I got 2 first:
Villa vs Leicester this year when David Ginola came on (before going off 20mins later). I was sat in the Holte End, loudest bit of Villa Park. As soon as everyone realised he was coming on there was a huge chant of:
He's Fat!
He's French!
He's sat on the bench!
It's Ginola, Ginola!
It was so funny. We repeated it alot during the 15mins he was on. He played quite well - until he had a kick at Wise and got sent off.
On a seperate occasion at Villa Derby (i think) the score was 1-1. Derby had a corner and the ball went over everyone in the Villa area and Steve Stone collected on the other side. He started running up the pitch to start the counter attack when some bloke behind me and my mates shouted, "Run you bald bastard!"
I dunno what it was about it, surprise? Said what 35,000ish Villa fans were thinking? had to be there though I think...
