Every one remembers the first time they were enlightened to this beautiful game. So when was it?
Mine was January 1st 1991 - Derby 1 - 1 Coventry City. Mike Hartford scored for Derby and Cyril Regis for City.
It was during Derby's relegation season (sound familar) of 90/91. We were piss-poor and eventually finished bottom with 25pts.

Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest. I don't know the date but I must've been about 7 so... 1992? I remember it was 2-1 to Villa and Roy Keane was playing for Forest.

My dad, in an attempt to steer me away from United, took me to Brighton vs Liverpool, a Div 1 game, in November 1980,
This was an amazing Liverpool side contaiing Clemmence, Dalglish, Heighway, Case, Thompson etc.
Liverpool won 4-1 which was no surprise.
Oh, and Dad's plan never worked, I guess Dalglish's moody, 'no autographs' made sure that I would never support them...

LOL you have brought back some painful memeories!!
First match was May 1997, Ibrox to see my beloved Rangers 'win' 9-in-a-row. Was all prepared for the championship party and just knew we'd gub Motherwell. Thing is we lost 2-0 and i went home with my head down..
We won the title 3 days later with Brian Laudrup scoring to beat Dundee Utd 1-0! But i will never forget that day....
Dont laugh
Well ok, laugh, I deserve it:
My 1st match was Dunfermline vs Hearts on the 2nd January, 1999. I was dragged along with the worst hangover EVER by my then Dunfermline-mad b/f after drinking myself unconsious the night b4!
Needless to say I dont remember much, and I dumped the guy the next day
I've been to some Northern Ireland matches, same as beatnusoon, dont think I've ever seen them win though
