OOh this is going to take some research!

6) Who was the last player before darius vassell to score on his england debut ?
Alan Shearer

Here's a couple to ponder on while i find out the rest.

Name the 2 league clubs NOT named after the area they play.

Name the only club to have played in all league divisions past and present.

Any chance of a clue on this, like the year perhaps...?

Bearing in mind that it could be any year from 1923 until 2000...

Unless of course it was Sir Stanley Matthews <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

Yes your right, Eb with my question about the two league clubs not named after the area they play. Port Vale (only cos i remember telling you Eb!) and Arsenal.

Still can no-one name the only league club to have played in all League divions past & present - any takers?

As for the question i'm suppose to be answering - not a clue!

Unless there is a team that played in Div 3 NORTH and SOUTH then this is impossible...

The only other team I can think of is Wimbledon, who came from Southern League all the way to Div 1 and were there when it changed to the Prem...

5) Who scored his first ever goal at wembley and then followed it with his first ever goal at international level just days later ?

Richard Wright - Made his much-called-for England debut against Malta scoring an own goal, which followed an own goal against Barnsley in the 1999/2001 First Division play-off final days earlier <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

It is possible and it's Coventry City. They have played in the:

Premier League
League Division 1
Division 2
Division 3
Division 3 North
Division 3 South
Division 4

So now you no!
