Argh! Need advice..

Hi all. Last summer I went away to America for 4 months, the whole summer camp thing, and then did some travelling. Before I headed off theough, I started seeing this amazing girl, and I still am. Anyway, I'm thinking about going back to America this summer, but only for 2 months, and then coming home and going on holiday with my girlfriend. The only thing is I don't know if I should go <IMG alt="image" SRC="rolleyes.gif" border="0"> I am totally in love with my girlfriend, and it would probably kill us both if I went away again <IMG alt="image" SRC="frown.gif" border="0"> I'd also have to pay rent when I wouldn't be staying there, and I don't know if I'll be able to afford a holiday when I get back, unless I go into my overdraft. The only other option would be to stay, work my ass off in a job I hate, get a car and pass my test, be with my girlfriend and then go on holiday. I've been stewing over this for ages, and all my flatmates are getting sick of me moaning about it. Any suggetsions? <IMG alt="image" SRC="confused.gif" border="0">

Tough decisions! I have sortof a similar situation but backwards I guess in a way. I am here studying in the UK and left the boyfriend back home. It will be 9 months that we're apart and so far it's been really rough but also ok.

If it was me I would go and see the world while you can. I second-guessed whether or not I should leave the states but decided to and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. When you get older and get pinned down in some office job you won't be able to just pick up and travel like you can now.

And as for the girl... if your relationship is right it's going to work. Distance teaches you a lot about the kind of relationship you have. So personally I would go... but just sit and think honestly about what it is that you really want. You've probably already made up your mind in your head and just aren't ready to admit it yet even to yourself. But listen to yourself and follow your heart.
