Does NE1 know what the age of consent is in Canada?

I asked one of my friends here, and this is what he said :

Basically (if I've read it right...)

You have to be 14 to have sex. But if you're 14 you can only consent to sex with 14, 15, 16, and 17 year olds.

If you're 15 you can consent to sex with 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 year olds.

If you're 16 you can consent to sex with 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 year olds. Basically when you're 14, 15, 16 and 17 you can sleep with people 3 years older than you and it'll be legal.

Till you're 18 then you can sleep with who you want <IMG alt="image" SRC="tongue.gif" border="0">

Yay! You read right! At least that's how I've understood it when people have tried to explain it to me. There's a site on it somewhere, but that made even less sense than Blair did.
