If you had unlimited money, what country and area of the world would you choose to live in?

I would have several houses, one in London, one in Can Cacoot (countryside near Barcelona), one in Cape Town and one on a Carribean island. Oh, and a yacht

Hey, I can dream!

*Dreams*

I would have a flat in Amsterdam , a big house over looking a lake in Canada, maybe another pad in Australia. Chuck in a holiday home in Ibiza as well (and why not!)

Mediterranean (spelling?)

Thats the right spelling by the way! Hmmm, where would I want to live???
*room goes fuzzy like it does when TV characters dream* Well I've been to Agra in India (the bit with the Taj Mahal) twice and it is amazing, so one house there. Also I have a dream to own my own island in the Caribbean like Richard Branson, that would just be amazing. Lastly I want a mahoosive (massive in the language of my area of Kent) mansion in Los Angeles!!!

I'd like one of those big loft flat conversion thingies. And for all my neighbours to be raging, gorgeous nymphomaniacs.

ooooo...*rubs hands in glee at the thought of unlimited money*

To be honest, I reckon I wouldn't like to be based in any particular place....maybe i'd just travel and if I liked a location i could stay a while...then move on....

But if the travelling hermit thing got boring, I'd most definitely return to dwell a hibernian and possible nude bohemian existence on one of the western hebridean isles.

First of all i would splash out on a luxery pad overlooking the alps in Switzerland. Then i would buy a mansion in Southern Ireland because its so beautiful there.I would get a villa in the carrabien as well. Why not you know, all that money you could get a pad in every country.(not that you would ever want to)

Good question!!!

My boyfriend decided, he would live in Florida, especially Naples, near the Gulf of Mexico.
On the coast where dolphins swim free.
But I would live in Scotland, for it's nice and green!!!!!
I might go and visit him once in a while!!! (lol)

#takes a deep breath...and...#

Ok here goes....

1. Big House in Amsterdam...large large large back garden essential for my greenhouse!

2. Big House in Morrocco....gigantic back field once again essential to grow my 'herbs and vegetables'

3. Big House in Cuba....big field essential to successfully run my 'sugar' business

4. A few more scattered houses round the map to comply with my customer demand for sugar , herbs, vegetables and plants!

5. Several yaughts and private jets to avoid importing/exporting taxes for my business.

6. Several privately built ports and airports in order to have the best quality, speedy service for my customers, and once again avoid taxes!

I think that would be enough for the 1st month's business...after that i would consider going global.....

I would like to and may eventually live in Costa Rico. Its a rather peaceful democracy. The land is relatively unexploited and the people friendly and crime low(at least on the gulf side). The surf is nice and every sizeable piece of property has streams and waterfalls in the jungle. They have wildlife like sloths, macaws, toucans, jaguars, caimens, eyelash vipers, and anteaters. The government encourages private investors to by rainforest and pays them to not develope them. Their are also numerous national parks. Tourist are know to visit and never return and its been compared to hawaii. I'd like to start a commune their and farm and guide tourists. Maybe one day

notice how no-one wants to live in london?! Ok, here's mine...
I'd have a penthouse apartment in London and New York. A house in Barcelona (love that city), and a villa in somewhere hot, like, hmm... tuscany. So that when i get bored of the cities (like that's going to happen ) i can escape to my retreat.

Your all very greedy.....

I would like a house that is big enough for me and my girlfriend in a nice area near all my family and friends, NOT some foreign place where I don't know anyone and can't speak the lingo......

I don't feel the need to have homes in exotic foreign locations, Britain is fine enough for me.
I'd have a mansion in Devon on the south coast with its own private beach (great for swimming), with jetty for my own yacht (a Cornish pilot cutter or Fisher 31). It would have a big garage to house my (huge) collection of classic cars and would be close to the railway for trainspotting expeditions.

I would have to have a few places, because the idea of settling down makes me really uncomfortable. My base would be in Montreal, because I'm from Canada and happy about it, and that's about the coolest place there is here. I'd have a place in London, Berlin and Moscow to enjoy the same kind of social scenes in different cultures, plus I want to learn German and Russian. I would also have a place in Beirut, because I like Islamic culture. My relax-and-do-nothing holiday spots would be either the island Brac, Croatia or Dubrovnik, and somewhere far away and exotic like Fiji - where I'd probably spend a reeeaally long time. For a weekend relaxing getaway I'd go to my friends converted windmill in Palmela, Portugal.

Anywhere where it doesn't rain too much or is freezing. Probably sumwhere in Italy or in the South of France cuz it's gorgeous there and nice and warm too. I've never been to Italy but I'd love to go cuz I'm planning to do Italian at Uni. Also Australia sounds tempting

I'm gonna be really rich and I'll have lots of houses....

one in a very posh part of Bournemouth by the seaside, so that i can still spend time in my home town!

one in Hawaii - never been there but it'd be a nice house on the beach with palm trees and hammocks!

one in Australia - again never been there, but a posh apartment in Sydney harbour overlooking the water would be nice!

hmm...I'm sure there'll be loads more...all by the sea ofcourse! :D
