Since you changed the colour of TheSite to orange, I'm having a problem with my browser (Netscape 6.2). If in a window a page of thesite is loaded, the only way for me to leave this page is to click a link on it. If I type a url on the location bar, it just reloads the same page.

Like I said, this didn't happen before the orange attack and doesn't happen with any other sites.

Hey gods, err, mods, any help with this?

Hmm good point, I heard that Netscape pretty much sucked a while ago. Methinks getting Internet explorer would be better, I've never had any problems with it.

"Crappy netscape"? You don't know what you're talking about.

As I have said before (in another thread) I've tried using IE, but every 5 minutes or so I've been thinking seriously of throwing the computer out of the window.

Every time you click on "stop", instead of stopping it loads another page, just to tell you why it stopped, which you already know. Most of the pages I visit, take double time to load if I use explorer. And the worst: IE is made by Microsoft!!!
Sure Netscape was slow once, but that was ages ago.

...Did we get out of subject or not? I think the thread was about a bug on TheSite, and I was expecting answers from the people on Valhalla.

So?

There's not much that anything on a page or server can do that has any bearing on how your browser reacts to what you type in the location bar. In fact the only thing that could do that here on thesite.org was if they added a javascript event 'onUnload' that some sites use to make a popup appear when you leave.

So I'm afraid everyone is right - its a bug in your browser or something else causing it - nothing to do with the site.

Sorry.
