ok ive read a few people say that this has been mentioned before but......why dont you have a chat room on here? i reckon it would be really cool & i think a lot of people would use it.
I just wondered if it has been considered & if not why not?

The chatroom idea has been kicked about before, ask WhoWhere for details, but at the moment I think there's a critical lack of support for it.

the_Paranoid_bunny (most of you wont know him now!!) started a chat room in the summer, based on IRC that you could access through a website. it was quite popular for a while, i got to know quite a lot of people through that. but there were some technical problems with it and it couldnt be used for a few days, everyone got put off i think and we had a few other problems, so its not been used for a while <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif">

but i do think its a good idea, as ive said before i think having an IRC based one is a good idea, with a way of accessing it through a website like before. the mods went to great pains to ensure we explained it was an UNOFFICIAL one though, and as it didnt get much publicity not everyone knew about it or where to find it.

so maybe if we got an official one up and running like this, it might be more successful.
