hey guys.
Um as all uni students know nicking a traffic cone is a must at some point - but what otehr cool things have people stolen (or as i like to call it 'borrowed long term')
me and my housemates have amassed a large number of signs etc
our best steal has however been one of them boxes at a zebra crossing. the ones with the button and the light up green and red men etc.!!
oh and two wheelbarrows!
anyone else beat this?

Well I don't go to uni but I have done a damn lot of chiefing stuff - The best sofar was between ten of us. You know those huge great guiness billboards they had around 2 years ago? Well we nicked one of those (complete with the lights) and stuck it in someone's garden...... The most recent - 2 weeks ago we "reaquistioned" a concrete bollard after about 5min we realised it wasn't going to fit in my bag so we just took the top half (which was this weird steel cap thingie) anyway it sits in the Sixth form common room now.

I don't want to admit it but i have been involved in some capers. The best being when we took ronald from MD's and ransomed him back. He was a big fibreglass madel and all we demanded were 6 happymeals, they refused so we cut his head off with a hacksaw and left it outside, the manager then agreed to 4 happymeals yay! Ronald is still there i think (Grimsby) with his head stuck back on.

OH MY GOD poor Ronald McDonald - I'm still laughing!!
Does anyone now the A22? Well where it runs through Forest Row we managed to shut the whole road off and divert trafic round 4 miles.... Ah the things you can do when you "reaquistion" a mobile generator and 5 tons of building sand gravel and 3 cones with flashing lights

We stole a talking Xmas tree from Asda last week.
Outside the store in Brighton there is a santas grotto. There was no-one there so we chucked it in our trolley and legged it too the car! It's so scary, its got santa's face in the middle of the tree and it talks and it scares us all!
I might try and geta refund...
If its not for sale, is it stealing?

I personally haven't, but my friends stole the following:
All the road signs announcing directions to goose fair,
several for sale signs
A whole traffic light!
But that's nothing. A few years ago, in Nottingham there used to be a massive stone goose near the goose fair site. Until someone stole it!

My mate in N'ham got a set of shiny bar pumps as a flatwarming, i'll not say how we did that.

All the students have gone home for Christmas, leaving their buscuits unattended, so me and two fellow renegades bust into the almost abandoned halls over the weekend and drunk three bottles of wine and drank all of the Cup'o'Soups! Ha ha ha ho ho ho!

Hey I was wondering if there was an easy way to get down those signs like deer crossing etc, they've got metal clip things that wrap round a pole or lampost so is there a special tool to make things easier to pinch em?
Strictly hush hush of course so marmite, you never saw this post

Yeh I have acouple of tools that let me open Lamposts, take down signs, open telephone boxes, electricity boxes and so on...... Very usefull! The ones I have look like 4 pronged stars with a different shaped key on each end. If you look through electrical engineer's catalogues you might be able to find them.

I always find just smacking them hard does the trick

When Miss Moneypenny's came to play at our club in Blackpool I robbed the main sign at the end of the night along with about 20 bottles which me and my other mate stached after DJing in a black plastic bin bag.....
We walked out the backdoor of the club with this circular 'Miss Moneypennys' sign about 1mx1m and ran off to the record shop laughing...
It now takes pride of place on the wall, they robbed an even bigger 'Sundissential' sign about 4" high a few weeks later and that sits in the shop window...
Great fun....

We nicked a traffic light then couple of nights later went back for the generator!! That was a good one, but the best is with the uni rugby team we have nicked all sorts over the years. american football whole kits, ac ouple of them, but the best was when we "kidnapped" a couple of the other uni girls and took them home fr 'fun and games' at our place

A pair of tempory traffic lights, a hand drier and a lock off a toilet door, all in the same night. I think we were having a magpie night.
