Not in my hall but they found big cockroaches in the showers down Owens Park (manchester).

as ne1 at UWA will know, TCE (Thomas Charles Edwards - blocks 8&9 Penbryn) is without a shadow of doubt THE grimmest hall in the UK. they even have hall t-shirts advertising the fact that they are hard enough 2 take living there. every year, about 50% go insane and most of the rest are considered battle hardened and r sent off 2 the military 4 experimentation. in fact, blocks 4 - 7 r almost as bad, except 4 block 6, which doesnt exist coz it burnt down in 1975 wen the uni thought it too old 2 bother putting out. and ppl still live in penbryn 26 years later! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/redface.gif">

I saw a hedgehog at university the other night. Cute. Is that classed as vermin?

hedgehog? i dont think they're vermin - tho they do rummage thru bins etc. we have a problem with rats at r bins - the uni borders farmland, and they just get attracted in.

we also get loads of squirrels (grey ones, unfourtunatley) we had an open day the other week and all the visitors were like 'awww, look at the cute sqwiwels' and the students were like 'sum1 run the damn thing over!'
get a LOT of roadkill round here - squirrels, foxes, rabbits, badgers, even some sheep sometimes!. makes a right mess of the campus i can tell u. not nice wen u have 2 walk past it everyday <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/redface.gif">
