what's the deal with student loans
Is it true you don't have to pay them back until you are earning over
a certain amount?
The most I've ever earned is £13,000 pa

You only gotta pay it back when you earn over £10,000pa. But, pay it back at the minimum level 'cos your debt dies with you!

Yeah pretty sure its 10k pa that you have got to be earning before you have gotta pay it back.

I've considered student loans but i waste too much money and would end up with enormous debts... so decided against it

If only I could get a retrospective student loan then!!!!
I was brought up by parents who encouraged me to kick against the pricks so when all todays students were still in school I refused to take out a student loan because it was unfair. What happened......I got stung with a bank loan instead, which I've been paying off for years!

Wish I had a student loan to pay off
